Late this afternoon I grabbed my camera to see what I could find during the Golden Hour, and I was not disappointed.
This Florida Mottled Duck swam all over the lake — not on his way to or from anywhere but just soaking in the beautiful golden sky.
His joy was contagious as I watched for half an hour his smooth and leisurely glides.
Here, the duck came out of the water and up onto the shoreline, and I swear he was standing just looking in awe at the incredible Golden Hour colors.
No imagination here on my part, just a lot of beauty all around!
