This photograph was taken from a boat on a Georgia lake during the beautiful golden hour just before sunset.
Photography keeps alive in our mind’s eye memories like seeing the boathouse in a cove so vibrantly bathed in golds and reds.
When I look at the picture, it takes me back to the sounds of water lapping on the sides as I slowed the boat – and the distant, hissing train running on steel tracks each Thursday into dusk and echoing off the lake.
Magical moments. We hold them, and we own them. Pure magic.
