No matter how young or old we are or where we are in life, we always have the opportunity to learn more about ourselves — so don’t forget to discover yourself!
It seems like we spend a lot of time trying to figure out what makes other people tick and what motivates and drives them, but we don’t always spend that same effort on ourselves. Every person has talents and skills that are uniquely theirs (creative and otherwise), and when you find yours and share them, everyone benefits!
Today at my art table, I experimented with several things I wasn’t sure would be compatible together – (1) handmade, cotton, watercolor paper with a deckle edge and a vintage tone; (2) Coliro metallic watercolors; and (3) a COPIC Multiliner Pen.
They worked great together!
The paper has a soft, brushed feel, and is sized 4″ x 6.” I painted simple flower clusters with the silver and gold metallic watercolors, and then added stems and flower highlights with the ink pen.
Finally, I added a small sticker in the theme of today’s blog post by The Daily Artisan – “Discover yourself!”
