The $4 bunch of mixed flowers I brought home to photograph (and posted) 8 days ago was pretty much finished when I deconstructed them to make flat lay designs 4 days later … except for … this one little pink flower and one little white flower!
Today I photographed them in different ways, with some realistic, and others softer and more abstract.
I’m often surprised at how long cut flowers last. I don’t have any secrets to keeping them alive — just trim each stem and put them into fresh water every day without fail.
I love to get every bit of enjoyment out of my flowers!
