Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone from The Daily Artisan!
Saturday’s blog post talked about creating something special for those you care about on this universal day of love and caring … so I baked chocolate treats for my friends and family.

Today there were three deliveries with multiple recipients at each stop, and tomorrow there’s one more – with everyone receiving white bakery boxes of the chocolate desserts I made for them (and of course photographed).
There are chocolate/raspberry/cream cheese brownies, with fresh raspberries inside, and also topped with a raspberry. And, there are chocolate/chocolate chip/espresso brownies topped with strawberry/cream cheese frosting.
Needless to say, my house smells like a yummy chocolate factory!

On this Valentine’s Day, I hope you were able to let people know you care, and also hope that people let you know they care about you! It would be great if I could send some of my Valentine’s Day brownies through the Internet to everyone following The Daily Artisan, but just know you’re appreciated!
Here are a few more photographs of the baking and end results – and by the way, in the future can we please not have Super Bowl Sunday and Valentine’s Day back to back?! It made for a crazy (but enjoyable) 24 hours!
(Be sure to notice the one photograph where clearly someone snuck into my house in the night and removed a 1″ x 1″ frosted brownie from the corner of the pan …!)
