One Of My Two All-Time Favorite Words Is …

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the same two favorite words, and one of them is “kaleidoscope.”

I just love how the little pieces of “stained glass” create fascinating patterns so randomly in the kaleidoscope tube. And then the tiniest rotation brings a whole new beautiful pattern.

It’s a great metaphor for resetting and refocusing in life – and the wonderful surprises that can come your way when you do.

Photography sometimes can be like a kaleidoscope when your pictures come out with interesting background bokeh and pieces – and I often find this when shooting flowers. Reflected light creates beautiful things!

Today on The Daily Artisan blog I’m posting some of my “kaleidoscope” flower photographs taken during the past few days, as well as some others in my beloved purple!
