My recent photography experiments include shooting objects on a high-gloss, black, reflective surface, and today’s post by The Daily Artisan combines some of these photos with favorite quotes on reflection in life.
Previously I’ve posted photographs using this reflective surface in the studio, and they included fresh flowers with carnations and sunflowers.
Today, though, I wanted to go with just the architectural look of hard surfaces shown as reflections. There is one shot of dried flowers included as well – and be sure to notice the three steel rings that look more like six (optical illusion)!

The word “reflection” and its practice intrigue me because I find some people are more introspective than others. A lot has been written about reflection, and some great quotes on it are interspersed with the photos in today’s post.
