Photographs of a purple and pink sunsetting sky, and Thomas Edison’s original movie projector invention have been selected in competitions as features on Instagram hubs!
This second one was for a hub’s themed competition of “Purple,” and it’s a purple and pink sunset over a lake in Georgia. Land across the lake and a pine tree branch offered a dark silhouette to contrast with the pastel sky, and it was one of those sunsets you just don’t want to end.
This particular Instagram hub is @and_the_purple_crayon, currently with 3,348 followers. This is my third win from the hub, and I’m very grateful for the introduction to the hub’s followers. The previous photographs selected were (1) standing purple tulips; and (2) purple sunset over Boca Grande’s beach.
