Tonight after I published blog posts about Instagram hubs selecting two of my photographs for features today, a third one just came in! I’m over the moon with both excitement and shock.
This photograph is one of a yellow flower I shot at Naples Botanical Garden, and included in a previous blog post about yellow and orange things on The Daily Artisan. It was selected by Instagram hub @nothingisordinary_.
Be sure to notice the little “flower finger” in the center right – when I saw it that day, it looked like it was motioning me to come over and take a photo!
This particular Instagram competition had the theme “Saturated,” and its hub @nothingisordinary_ has 62,100 (wow, count ’em) followers! Previously it selected my photograph of faded pink tulips in an earlier competition.
There were 526 photographs entered into the “Saturated” competition, and four grids of four (for a total of 16) photos were selected as features. I’m happy to be among them!
Here’s the Instagram announcement about the selection – thank you, @nothingisordinary_!
