Here are some photographs of a beach bird hanging around yesterday’s net casting for fishing bait.
In this first photo, you’ll see a rather sedate bird (with great posture!) — having a low-key morning UNTIL the cast net started yielding tiny fish slung onto the beach.
At that point, the bird raced into action — long strides and wild hair — all to grab some of the wayward bait! It was funny to watch his transformation into one very excited bird!
