What Is It? I Didn’t Have A Clue

Do you know what this is? I didn’t have a clue but was excited to photograph it because it was so unusual hanging up in a tree.

When I got home from Naples Botanical Garden and researched it, I learned it’s called “Passiflora Alata” (also referred to as a winged-stem passion flower).

It’s a flowering vine/plant that bears an edible type of passion fruit, and is native to the Amazon from Peru to eastern Brazil.

This is an example of the gorgeous flowers and plants at Naples Botanical Garden in Naples, Florida. Neither you nor your camera ever will be disappointed with a visit to the Garden!
