This morning when I posted this bird photograph, I also entered it into an Instagram competition that selects a themed winning shot and four runners up each day.
Imagine my surprise when I was notified this afternoon that the photograph was selected as one of the runners up!
This particular hub on Instagram is @photomission, and its announced theme this morning was “Measurement.” I didn’t think I had any photographs along these lines until I remembered this blue huron on a water measuring stick – so I entered it not expecting anything. What a great surprise!
The @photomission hub has 4,754 followers, and it’s great to have an introduction of The Daily Artisan to this new group of folks.
