Little moments can surprise you when you least expect them. This is an adult, striped hermit crab (actually two!) who’s doing one of two things:
(1) Checking out a new shell house (the green one) he thinks is unoccupied
– OR –
(2) Going on a date with the mostly hidden hermit crab in the green shell. (Look closely to see her legs barely peeking out.)
We’ll never know if it was about real estate or love as a big wave swooshed in and separated them … forever??
