Yesterday afternoon a beautiful osprey appeared in my backyard, sitting on the rocks and just quietly looking out over the lake.
I slipped outside (tiptoeing with a long lens) and was able to take about 10 shots before he got wise to me and flew away. Such a pretty bird! (You can see in some of the shots when the wind got up and ruffled feathers around his face!)
This same osprey also was here a few days earlier, and I’m hoping for more visits!
